Jennifer Jordan

Director of Operations and Outreach Jennifer Jordan is currently married to her husband, Scott Jordan. They met in Military Police basic training in 2002, where they deployed to Iraq from 2003-2004. It was here that their unit took the title for the first longest deployed reserve unit since WWII with 16 months in Iraq & Kuwait. They started dating in 2008 and married in 2010 prior to Scott deploying again to Iraq with her brother George, who was also in the same Military Police unit. Jennifer stayed home and became the E-6/SSG Platoon Sergeant. It was here that she continued to train and mentor new Soldiers until she ETS’d out of the Army in 2011. After Scott’s safe return to the states in 2011, the moved from New England to Wisconsin where Scott took his first Active Duty assignment for the Army Reserves. Jennifer assisted Veterans by donating her time to the American Legion, Post 282, while quickly being promoted to Supervisor at JCPenney, and bartending at a local golf course. This is when she started pursuing her Associates Degree in General Studies. When Scott’s active duty position reassigned him to West Virginia in 2015, Jennifer found solace in continuing to assist Vietnam, Iraq, and Afghanistan Veterans at the Vet Center in Wheeling while continuing her Bachelors Degree. In 2017, Scott had one more move for the Army and they chose San Diego. Scott discontinued his service in the military and Jennifer earned her Bachelors Degree Summa Cum Laude in December 2017. They hit the ground running in San Diego and partnered into a franchise of a junk removal company, employing up to fourteen Veterans and Military Spouses within eight months. After a year and a half running the franchise, they moved on to different endeavors. Scott took a federal position and Jennifer moved into The Rosie Network to focus on Military Spouses and their journey into entrepreneurship.
